Child Family Health International has partnered with Aperian, a leader in cross-cultural effectiveness, to develop the modular course “Pillars of Global Health: Building Competencies for Global Health Engagement.”
Join us to learn how this course is being utilized by universities and organizations in multiple ways including as a stand-alone training, as a class component, integrated into pre-departure training, or as a professional development opportunity for faculty, partners, and collaborators. This flexible resource includes two validated intercultural self-assessment tools, GlobeSmart and the Intercultural Effectiveness Scale (IES). It also covers a wide breadth of topics including health systems, global health ethics, social determinants of health, planetary and one health, global health definitions/discourse, diversity, equity, and health disparities.
