Implementation Science and Global Health are intricately linked as researchers and practitioners collaborate to solve real world problems and benefit human and planetary health around the world. The Nigerian Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) is a model for developing research infrastructure that blends community-based realities with scientific pursuits. Implementation Science is not just a term, it is a way of thinking. Learn from leaders of NISA about the role of implementation science in understanding and strengthening health systems. Gain key insights into how to build skills and infrastructure in implementation science. NISA, with support from NIH, Fogarty International, and the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), has built key collaborations in Nigeria and is setting an example for other LMICs.
