In response to interest from CFHI participants, below please find a list of opportunities to learn Spanish online through CFHI's diverse partners. These classes and tutoring opportunities are offered directly through CFHI partners; CFHI is not administering or collecting any funds related to the below opportunities. Canopy is an online medical language learning platform that works to improve the quality of care for Spanish-speaking patients and to support the healthcare professionals who serve them. CFHI and Canopy work together to set students up for success, giving them the tools to be thoughtful, culturally competent healthcare professionals. Through this partnership, CFHI students are able to enroll in Canopy Learn Medical Spanish courses at a discounted rate.

Academica Latinoamerica provides Spanish tutorial services through specialized services using audio/visual programs such as Skype or Zoom to connect students with teachers. Enrollment will be in units of 20 hours of class, from which students can anticipate to progress through one level of Spanish.
