Child Family Health International (CFHI) partners with Oregon State University to provide undergraduate students with ethical, sustainable global health field experiences that emphasize local leadership, fair-trade learning, and cultural immersion. Internships for OSU students are offered in 8 different countries, lasting either 4 or 10 weeks in duration.
During your time abroad, you will have the opportunity to learn from local experts about community medicine, healthcare access, infectious disease prevention, and health systems. You’ll also observe the interactions between healthcare providers and patients, gaining insights into the cultural, historical, and social influences on health and healthcare, with opportunities in both clinical and public health settings.
All of this will take place while living among locals, immersing yourself in another culture, and experiencing the richness and diversity of the country you choose to travel to.
Students must apply through OSU before beginning the CFHI application.
