Your donation could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer. Many companies have matching gift programs, which means that they will match charitable contributions made to nonprofit organizations by their employees, retirees and/or employees’ spouses. If your employer operates a matching gifts program, you can help CFHI expand our impact on global health education and grassroots health projects.
CFHI is an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the ECOSOC of the United Nations. CFHI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and our Tax ID is 94-3145385.
Here’s how you can maximize your donation to CFHI through a matching gifts program:
Step 1. Ask your company’s HR department if they have a matching gifts program and if so, fill out the required paperwork.
Step 2. Complete and send company forms to Reeha Shafi, Operations and Development Coordinator at [email protected]. If your company requires a letter from CFHI please contact us and we will facilitate the process.
Step 3. Decide what your matching gift will be and prepare to donate your annual donation in one check. Oftentimes, employers will only match one gift a year, although you can confirm with your company. Many companies match gifts on a quarterly basis so check with your employer for their yearly schedule.
Step 4. Make sure your employer knows to write the matching gift check to:
Attn: Operations Manager
Child Family Health International
11135 San Pablo Avenue #929
El Cerrito, CA 94530
Step 5. Once the matching gift is received and processed, CFHI will provide an acknowledgment letter to you and your employer.
