Advisory Circle

Emily Miller brings a range of applicable experience having worked in global health, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), service learning, and education. Before CFHI, she worked at an international development consulting firm coordinating an extensive portfolio of indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity M&E contracts for the USAID/Kenya and USAID/East Africa missions evaluting multi-million dollar USG-funded projects for family planning, HIV/AIDS, economic development and more. She spent four years living abroad, teaching English as a second language in Spain and leading community development trips for international volunteers in Nicaragua. Emily has a Master's degree in Global Health from Universitat de Barcelona and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from University of Maryland, College Park. She is particularly passionate about amplifying traditionally underrepresented voices in global health and shifting the foreign aid paradigm.

When out of the office, Emily might be found reading a book on the beach, exploring new cities and trails, or enjoying documentaries with her husband and cat.
