Koren Temple Perry
Koren joined CFHI in 2019 as the Associate Director of Outreach. In this role, she leads outreach, marketing and external communications efforts for CFHI. Koren has 12 years of experience in public relations, marketing, content management, and communications. She has worked extensively in the areas of patient and community health education, health advocacy, and scientific communications for hospitals, research institutes, and healthcare organizations. Prior to her work at CFHI, Koren served as Consulting Communications Director for March for Science, where she led the media and communications campaign for the global marches. She is passionate about providing people with information and agency to take control of their health and lives.
Koren earned her master’s degree in journalism from the S.I. School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from Santa Clara University. She’s an avid traveler and has a perpetual wanderlust after living in New York, London, and New Zealand. When out of the office, she can be found making up silly stories with her daughter, taking long beach walks with her husband and dog or exploring museums throughout the Bay Area.
