CFHI’s Payment Policy applies to funds raised using Firstgiving except as stated below: |
You must use set up a Firstgiving page that correlates to the program date you are enrolled in with CFHI. The cut off date for your Firstgiving page will be 45 days before the program start date as indicated in your online CFHI account. No extensions will be granted.
An initial deposit of $350 is due to CFHI 30 days after your date of enrollment to guarantee your place in the program. If, prior to that date, you have raised at least $350 via Firstgiving, you will not be required to send a deposit check. If you have not raised this amount, you are responsible for sending the remaining balance directly to CFHI by the deposit due date.
CFHI must receive full payment of program fees by the final payment deadline for your program, which is 45 days before the program start/arrival date. Your Firstgiving page will not be available for donations after that date. If you have not raised sufficient funds by the final payment deadline, the remaining balance needs to be paid to CFHI directly.
Any funds raised in excess of the program fee will be donated to Child Family Health International for general use. Excess funds can not be returned to donors, redirected for other use, or transferred to other enrolled participants.
If for any reason you choose not to participate in a CFHI program after you have created a fundraising page, funds raised through your page will be donated to Child Family Health International for general use. These funds can not be returned to donors, redirected for other use, or transferred to other enrolled participants.
If you create a Firstgiving page after your CFHI program fee has been paid in full, funds raised through your page will be donated to Child Family Health International for general use.
Under extreme circumstances when a program may be cancelled before the start date for reasons such as, but not limited to, political unrest and natural disasters, CFHI will make all reasonable efforts to contact the donor and refund donated funds.
