How Do I Obtain Academic Credit for a CFHI Program?
After being accepted to a CFHI program you may request a participation letter from us by emailing students(at)cfhi.org. This letter details your clinical hours, program structure and other details relevant to your experience. This information is useful in presenting to your advisors for their approval. Each program site has a Medical Director who will complete any onsite evaluation forms. It is very important that you carry these forms to your program site, and take responsibility for their completion and submission to your school. We also ask that you fax or mail a copy to CFHI to keep in your file. CFHI will not be held responsible for incomplete evaluation or credit.
Can I Conduct Research During My CFHI Program?
CFHI reviews research project proposals on a case-by-case basis. Generally, if the project is socially responsible, easily carried out within the regular scope of the CFHI program, and is not a burden to the local community we do allow occasional research projects if required by your school.
