CFHI will be exhibiting and presenting at the Australian Medical Students' Association Hobart 2010 Global Health Conference.
The theme for the conference being held at the University of Tasmania is Small Steps, Big Picture. CFHI Executive Director, Steven Schmidbauer, will address the students on the opening night of the conferecne and will be available throughout the conference. CFHI alumni will also be present to give first-hand accounts of the CFHI Global Health Immersion experience. |

CFHI's Executive Director, Steve Schmidbauer, will be part of the Building Bridges Coalition attending the International Volunteering and Service Forum at the Brookings Institution in Washington DC on June 23rd.
The forum will frame international service as an integral component of “smart power” diplomacy and as a cost effective way to build cross-cultural bridges. Global Health Diplomacy is now a part of the wider efforts to develop Citizen Diplomacy on a greater scale. CFHI will be present to represent its many student volunteers and its global family of health professionals working at the grassroots level in underserved communities. |
